yea i wrote down spooky nlc because it was the only thing i could think of that matches the nlc quests that involve the phantom forests places. so if you were looking for help on killing that 200 elephants, oooh sorryyy not spooky enough. sides i hated doing that part.

i have 23 charms to give away and even at 5k each. it's 115k so i think information will be just about equal
so i dont sound crazy, i have a 40blaze wizard and ive only had thieves my whole maple life.
no idea what, where to train now or a skill build. so im negotiating for all of these things
1. a fame
lvl 40 blaze wizard
2. skill build
3. what items to get (lukless, so far he's still wearing the clothes he got from lvl8 and that lvl8 wand) (minimal funding cuz i dont really have big plans for this guy but like, basic lukless equips to get. like a ... int robe?)
4. training places (cpq is really empty, im not sure why.)

well, i dont need help with those quests but i can outline some mage pointers for you.

level 30 green paintbrush is an awesome lukless weapon for mages. its relatively cheap as you buy it from the NPC at showa. it requires 5 strength so wear a medal or the CPQ medal.

go for a zhelm at 50 definitely. get a clean bathrobe for now, and work your way up from that as int overalls are expensive. you could try to potential a top/bottom set for int though with the potential system lukless might not be as good anymore.

grab potentialed earrings for int or mattack.

CPQ FW or TW is good. get 3 other guildmates and run back and forth tradewins on room 3/4 with speed and max summons. it is insanely good exp. if not you could do cold eyes in sleepy dungeon until you are ready to move on to mp3.

Honestly, with % equips, lukless isn't the way to go anymore, unless you don't want to find % equips, as Andrew was saying.

Also, I myself find KoCs not worth it. When you get to 120 thats it. I got my blaze to 104 because at first your KoC was what gave your main character the blessing but now that that's changed, its not really worth it.
But Heres what I did with my Blaze, and mind you I'm funded, NOT lukless and KoC's are strong as hell.

Lvs 40 - 50 ~ Water Goblins
51 ~ 80 Blue Kents ~ You will die a lot but on 4x I was getting 100% every 12 minutes at level 54.
80 + Skeles, Crimson Guardians, or dual Channeling Peak
110 - 120, Newts
then thats it XD

I went from lv 45 to 80 in 2 - 3 days.


Fire Wizards are now the highest DPMers of all mages by lv 130.

As for equipment, Andrew has the right idea. If you cant afford % earrings yet there are a ton of regular earrings in FM for cheap now due to % earrings.

KoC and the blessing of the fairy thing changed?
i remembered that poison mist was what gave f/p mages that awesome boost back then (maybe still now) so i just chose a blaze for that reason

oh and does equips still matter after i get the poisoning fire skill? figured after i hit 3rd job with the blaze ill just be hitting monsters with 1hp left so how much dmg i do didnt matter much

I'm also not afraid to spend money on pots for the best experience, never go anywhere early if you can't take the pottage XD

Equipment only matters for defense at that point , like after I took my zhelm off I couldnt Peak anymore at lv 100 I was getting wrecked too hard.
